When people run around and around in circles we say they are crazy...
but when planets do it we say they are orbiting.

Forecast for tonight: Dark.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day. - Frank Sinatra

Birthdays are good for you. Studies show that the people who have the most live the longest.

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

I could tell that my parents hated me. My bath toys were a toaster and a radio.

Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.

All those who believe in telekinesis, raise my hand.

"They misunderestimated me!" -George W. Bush"

Life's disappointments are harder to take when you don't know any swear words.

I'm learning real skills that I can apply throughout the rest of my life... procrastinating and rationalising.

I'm a genius, but I'm a misunderstood genius.
What's misunderstood about you?
Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

"I'm not going to do my maths homework. Look at these unsolved problems. Here's a number in mortal combat with another. One of them is going to get subtracted. But why? What will be left of him? If I answered these, it would kill the suspense. It would resolve the conflict and turn intriguing possibilities into boring old facts."

*on the phone* Hello, I'm looking for something that can deliver a 50-pound payload of snow on a small feminine target. Can you suggest something? Hello...?

"Do you like being a girl?"
"It's got to be better than the alternative."
"What's it like? Is it like being a bug?"
"Like a WHAT?!"
"I imagine bugs and girls have a dim perception that nature played a cruel trick on them, but the lack the intelligence to really comprehend the magnitude of it."

hehehehe. see you! :)

what are you listening for?...

There was once an Indian man walking along with his friend in central New York. While the two were walking the footpath, the Indian man suddenly stopped and cocked his head to one side as if listening for something.
"What are you doing?" Asked the American friend.
"I hear a cricket" replied the Indian
"What! How on earth can you hear a tiny cricket in the middle of New York? You've got to be kidding!"
"Just listen. Think about all the sounds you hear, listen for the cricket. Believe it's there."
So the American man sat down on a nearby bench, put his face in his hands, closed his eyes, and listened. But after a minute or two, the man stood up and shook his head.
"I didn't hear a thing. Just the whooshing of taxis, the rumbling of the subway, and the clacking of cash registers. But there's no cricket."
"I'll show you then," announced the Indian man as he headed to the next intersection and turned the corner with his ear ever listening for that cricket. He crossed the road, while his American friend stayed on the other side, found a seat and watched in humour. The other man ran up to a church, and found a pot at the entrance gate. He quickly dug around in the soil, and the stoop up, his hand raised high in the air, with the tiny cricket held gently between his fingers. He crossed the road back to his friend and showed off his prize.
"How did you hear that, and I didn't?" said the American.
"It all depends on what you listen for. I'll show you." He then reached into his pocket and pulled out some coins, a few dimes and a nickel. Then he simply dropped them. At that moment, every head in the street turned towards the two men.
"I listen for things that you do not. You must believe something is there to really hear it. It's all about what you listen for."

3 weeks in Melbourne was a fairly unforgettable experience. It was a chance to get away from pestering parents, to become independent, and to be able to learn more about Melbourne city. I certainly learned a lot, from how to work better with a group that might not be your best friends, to learning about your best friends and just hanging out with them. :)
Here's some photos:
Love this photo. Just the light exposure and stuff.

love...

You know, no matter how hard the human species (both male and female, of the younger age inparticular) tries to avoid the dangerous chemical reaction called 'love', our attempts always prove futile, and we humans fall into the tender trap called 'love'.

So check out '(Love Is) The Tender Trap - Frank Sinatra

Goodnight peeps, all those who read this (if anyone does), be blessed forever and ever.

Ciao.
